  • Mahjong 101

    Price: $75

    Mahjong 101 is a 2.5 hour introductory class designed for beginners. You will learn tile recognition the structure of the National Mahjongg League card the Charleston and the flow of gameplay. By the end of class you will understand how to build a hand and feel comfortable sitting at a table.

    Mahjong 102

    Price: $75

    Mahjong 102 is a 2 hour continuation class that builds on the foundation from 101. This session focuses on strategy defensive play reading the table and making stronger in game decisions. Players will gain confidence and improve speed through guided play.

    Mahjong 103

    Price: 75

    Mahjong 103 is an advanced guided play session designed to refine fluency and independence. This class emphasizes strategy adjustments card flexibility and real time decision making so players feel fully prepared for open play and private games.

    Drop in Open Play

    Price: $30

    Drop In Open Play is a 2 hour weekly session for players who have completed 101 and 102 or already know how to play. There is no formal instruction but support and guidance are always available. This is a space to build confidence gain experience and strengthen strategy in a relaxed community setting.

    Two Day Series

    This package includes two separate class days designed to build confidence progressively. Mahjong 101 is 2.5 hours on day one. Mahjong 102 is 2 hours on day two. Book both together to save and experience a seamless learning progression.

    This three class series takes place across three separate days. Mahjong 101 is 2.5 hours. Mahjong 102 is 2 hours. Mahjong 103 is 2 hours. Enroll in the full series to save and complete the entire Mahjmont progression from foundation to fluency.

The Mahjmont Society began on Cape Cod, where long summer nights, close friends, and a shared love of Mahjong brought us around the table again and again. What started as a tradition between Erin Mahoney, Jennifer Manganaro, and friends quickly became something more — a way to gather with intention, celebrate timeless play, and build meaningful community.

Inspired by the beauty of coastal living and the art of thoughtful hosting, we set out to reimagine American Mahjong with modern design and elevated detail. Today, The Mahjmont Society is making Mahjong is more than a game — it’s an invitation to gather beautifully.
